Post Trip Cleaning and Inspection

Air Delivery Regulators are totally disassembled and cleaned in a special cleaning solution. High-pressure and low-pressure seats are replaced along with dynamic o-rings, exhaust valves, and high-pressure filters. Static o-rings, hoses, diaphragms, and mouthpieces are carefully inspected for wear and replaced as necessary. Air Delivery Regulators are then reassembled and hydrostatically pressure tested. Performance tests are conducted to manufacturer specifications.

Air Monitors (submersible pressure gauges) and depth monitors (depth gauges, pressure activated dive monitors or computers) are checked for accuracy in a pressure vessel, and the indicated readings versus the true readings are recorded.

Buoyancy control devices are inspected for buckle strap tension and bladder seam integrity. Inflator mechanisms are disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt, the inner bladder rinsed with B.C. conditioner and over pressure release valves are cleaned and tested for proper operation.

Cylinders are inspected internally and externally according to the standards set forth by the Department of Transportation, the Compressed Gas Association, and NASDS.

Cylinder valves are totally disassembled and rebuilt to manufacturer specifications. NASDS recommends this service at the same time as the visual inspection or hydrostatic tests.

Hydrostatic Test (Mandatory every 5 yrs to comply w/ US Federal Regulations)

Cylinders are tested in accordance with DOT/CTC test requirements then dried with hot air in the inverted position. Cylinders are completely inspected and valves are checked for operation and the strength of the safety burst discs.

Drysuits valves are disassembled and cleaned to manufacturer specifications to insure proper descents and ascents. Other considerations are seal replacement, boot attachment, and leak testing. Minor problems can be repaired on premises.

Environmental Protection (Wetsuit Repair)

Services are available for environmental suits. Minor repairs are done in house and alterations are done with the original manufacturer.

Post Trip Cleaning and Inspection (Minor System Maintenance)

Cleaning and inspection services are available for your Air Delivery System and Buoyancy Control System in preparation for storage. We will rinse and examine your equipment, and advise of any needed service or warranties.
