The Dive Shop: Memphis, Tennessee

The Dive Shop in Memphis, Tennessee is our longest running scuba store. Founded in 1961 by Doug McNeese Sr. we have been teaching scuba for the entire Memphis, TN and Shelby County area. Our onsite scuba lessons, exotic dive vacations, and top of the line scuba equipment make us second to none. With the recent YMCA instructional contract we will be teaching even more people to dive. With instruction from Scuba Rangers for kids all the way to Instructor training, scuba is truly a family sport. The Dive Shop in Rome, Georgia shares our name and our vision. Working in concert with our Marietta stores, the Rome, GA store brings the fun and adventure of diving to northwest Georgia. Dive Shop VI offers a full line of scuba gear and instruction. Our staff of trained professionals are on hand to answer your questions and assist you in your education, equipment purchases, and travel adventures.

University of Mississippi Scuba Program

The Dive Shop Inc. currently runs the scuba program at Ole' Miss. Students learn scuba, get certified, and get college credit. The program includes beginner open water through advanced open water scuba. The diving program takes regular trips to nearby diving destination for open water certification. We also plan spring break trips for scuba divers with Blackbeard's cruises. Blackbeard's is an affordable scuba live-aboard sailboat that tours some of the most spectacular diving sites in the Caribbean and Bahamas including Bimini.

University of Memphis Scuba Program

The Dive Shop also runs the scuba program at The University of Memphis. Students learn scuba, and get college credit. Memphis and Mid-South YMCA Scuba Program

The Dive Shop of Memphis is currently operating the YSCUBA program for the Memphis and Midsouth YMCA locations.  We currently teach classes at the Fogelman Downtown YMCA, the Millington YMCA, and the brand new Olive Branch, MS YMCA.
