“Jumpin” Jack Gregory serves as the Shop’s Lead Repair and Equipment Technician. He has been factory trained and is qualified to service equipment made by Apollo, Aqualung/Seaquest/US Divers/Apeks/Suunto (Master Level), Atomic Aquatics, Cressi-Sub, Dive Rite, Mares/Dacor (Expert Lab Level), Oceanic/Aeris, Ocean Management Systems, Ocean Reef, Scuba Pro/Uwatec, Sherwood/Genesis, Technisub, Tusa, and Zeagle. Jack is a Professional Scuba Inspector (PSI) Cylinder/Eddy Current, and Valve Repair Technician as well as a Certified Tri-Mix/Nitrox Blender and Oxygen Service Technician.

Jack joined-up with the Dive Shop on a full-time basis in 2006 after he retired from the Federal Government (36 years) as the Special Agent in Charge for the U.S. Forest Service’s Law Enforcement program in the Southern Region.

Jack is not only a repair technician, but also a very active technical cave diver, making monthly one week “pilgrimages” to Cave Country in N. Florida with his better half and life-long Dive Buddy, Jackie, who is an SSI Dive Control Specialist Instructor and the Scuba Ranger Instructor Trainer at the Shop. Jack is currently certified as DPV Full Cave by two training agencies and is dual-certified as an SSI Dive Control Specialist and PADI Divemaster. He holds numerous advanced diving certifications and is a Life Member of the National Association for Cave Diving (NACD), and has presented seminars on SCUBA equipment at past NACD annual conventions.

Jack likes to work all the above equipment, but his favorite tasks involve gas blending and servicing customer’s technical gear---working with them to fine-tune their requested regulator performance.
